Who’s it for?
The Advanced Defensive Rifle Course is designed for experienced shooters who already possess a strong foundation in marksmanship and defensive shooting principles. This course will challenge your skills by introducing complex tactical scenarios, advanced weapon manipulations, and high-pressure drills in dynamic environments. Expect to refine your technique while pushing your physical and mental limits under stress.

We will cover advanced manipulations, high-speed movement, and tactical applications with a focus on problem-solving under pressure. You’ll navigate obstacles, perform target identification, and engage threats in a variety of tactical environments. The course is drill-intensive—bring hydration, mental readiness, and a commitment to push your limits. Participants must demonstrate mastery of foundational skills before progressing to advanced drills.

Course Instruction Includes:

• Precision shooting at varying distances with high-stress drills
• Advanced barricade and cover techniques, including unconventional positions
• Tactical and combat movement with rifle, incorporating speed and accuracy
• High-speed reloads and malfunction clearing under stress
• Dynamic shooting drills with immediate target transitions
• Advanced manipulation of the rifle in hostile environments
• Shooting on the move and engaging multiple targets
• Advanced cadence of fire to manage ammunition and maintain effective combat pace
• Complex decision-making drills with multiple targets and time constraints
• High-pressure culmination exercise combining all skills in a realistic scenario

Prerequisites:
Participants must be proficient with weapon handling, including reloading, target transitions, and clearing malfunctions. Experience in defensive shooting or equivalent prior training is required. Expect a physically demanding course with fast-paced drills and problem-solving exercises.

We will meet at MB Tactical (formerly California Tactical Academy), at 10 am.

You will lose Signal as soon as you enter the dirt road leading to the range. Continue along the dirt road, driving slowly and straight, until you reach the office and parking lot. Park there, then head to the office and wait for your instructor.
